Kegel Exercises

This special exercise strengthens your pelvic floor muscles for labor and has other lifelong health benefits for men and women.

How to do Kegels:

  • When your bladder is empty, contract the same muscle used to stop the flow of urine
  • Hold for 2–5 seconds
  • Release and repeat
  • Do 10 of these in a row, several times a day
The pelvic floor muscle is like a sling that supports your other organs
